We went to Stone Mountain State Park on Friday, stayed at the campground. On Friday we climbed to the summit. This is probably the nicest campground we have stayed at so far. K is thinking seriously about going back and taking the WEBELO's. The boys were again able to ride bikes. It was rather rainy and cold on Friday night and I thought I would never get warm again. I soon retreated inside to read, while the boys slaved over a fire that just would not burn. Just as well though we forgot the hot dog sticks and the marsh mellows! K and I did a bit more sitting around camp and being lazy than we have in the past. Of course after our climb on Saturday, we didn't have the energy to do anything else! LOL!Note list of things forgotten for this camping trip: dutch oven, hot dog sticks, all but one of my pots were not in the camper, not enough warm clothes and the most important COFFEE!
