Moving On Up...

Just got word yesterday that B passed his EOG's. This is great news, cause we have devised elaborate plans for his middle school career. He is taking band, computer and spanish again next year as electives. If you don't show growth on your EOG as a middle school student the only mediation is to take a study skill class next year, which means losing an elective. We have pretty much decided that he is going to do spanish all three years, because it will count as one high school foreign language, and band, well there is no choice about band! That leaves the computer class that I really wanted him to have in preperation for the 8th grade computer test.
Therefore, the B man is on track! Heading into 7th grade, at 5ft 8 inches (went to the dr yesterday too).
Now, for my twins. We got confirmation on Tuesday that both had passed the 3 rd grade EOG!
Let me tell you I was sweating that one. If J had to have went for mediation this summer that would have been his third summer in summer school or tutoring! I just don't know if I could have taken that! I did a lot of praying last Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Now for today, I have to go no where! I can stay home, no yearbook stuff (it should be on the press by now, the cover was printed last week), no grade mom stuff, no classes...I feel a scrapbooking page forming in my head!
Happy Thursday!
