Book Fair

For the last two days I have been working at the schools book fair. I worked 6 hours both days. It is really quite fun. The Book Fair is not a money maker for our PTA, it is just to get books into the hands of the kids. Everything is buy one, get one free. The kindergarteners are so cute they come in and want everything they see and we as volunteers either write it down for them or help them to write it down on a wish list that they can take home to their parents. And you have to bend so far down to get on their level! Then the 5th graders, are really cool, when I explain to them that it is buy one get one free but they have to buy the book that is more expensive and get the cheaper book free, you can just see their minds turning trying to understand this all .

And now it is time to move on and start working on the yearbook like a mad woman, wish me luck! I think this is going to be a bumpy ride! I did get someone to say today that they would help me make photos. So that is a great releaf to me.

So might not be around much in the next 3 weeks or so.
