Heavy on My Mind

I found out at Christmas that K's neice and her mom were moving to NYC to pursue the daughters modeling career. She (the neice) finished her high school courses in January so she is now free to move on with her plans.

K called his brothers cell phone tonight and the neice answered, she said "we are in NY!" I knew the time was getting close for them to go but had no idea that they were there.

I got on the phone with her and she told me about the appartment that she and her mom would be sharing with some others that have signed contracts with the same modeling agency. She said that the bedroom and the living room were very small and the bath room was so small that she didn't know how they would ever bath in it. I asked her if it was as small as the bathroom in Uncle G and Aunt M's Bambi Airstream. She said "yes it is!"

She, being the beautiful caring person that she is asked how we were and I told her that the boys had been sick. So then of course she was concerned with her cousins. When ever I talk to her or her sister they always ask how the boys are.

I wish her the best of luck with this new endevor. I pray for her protection. I am so proud of her! She has to be so brave. I can not imaging being that far from home, much less at the age of 17. She is such a little country bumpkin in a big big city. Please pray for her.
